MARIA GORETHI BHAVAN, THAVALAM

Maria Gorethi Bhavan, was started in the year as the Balikabhavan for the Tribal Girls with a strength of 10 children. The Convent was Blessed and Inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Antony Thottithara on 15th June 1991. Enhancement of female literacy and upliftment of women are the main thrust of this institution. The people in this area are very much impressed and got developed in various levels by our activities and the selfless education service that we provide through the free accommodation and tuition to the girls those who stayed in this house.
